Protect Against Pests: Illinois 2017
An Integrated Pest Management Workshop for Housing and Facility Managers
Midwest Pesticide Action Center is hosting a full-day workshop on integrated pest management. This workshop will provide needed insight into the spread of bed bugs beyond large urban centers with a focus on creating a comprehensive integrated pest management (IPM) program. Dr. Dini Miller will present on the latest strategies for bed bug control. Dr. Miller will be joined by experts to discuss rodent control and general IPM strategies for controlling pests. A presentation on how to contract with a pest control professional will round out this comprehensive workshop.
Managers of multi-unit housing, senior housing, shelters and transitional housing, and client service providers are encouraged to attend. Lunch and other refreshments will be provided. Please check back for additional details as the event approaches!

MGG Lawn & Land Forum
The MGG Lawn & Land Forum is a collaboration between MPAC, the Illinois Sports Turf Managers Association, and the University of Wisconsin Turfgrass Science Program to document, summarize, and improve the state of Integrated Pest Management and Natural Lawn Care policies and practices locally, regionally, and nationally. All summaries, findings, and resources developed from this forum will remain open source to turf managers, policymakers, and individuals interested in applying IPM policies and programs to their work.
The next MGG webinar session will take place in July of 2017.
