Midwest Pesticide Action Center is currently accepting applications for internships beginning in early 2014. An internship with us is a challenging and rewarding educational experience for any undergraduate or graduate student interested in pursuing a career in public health, environmental health, public policy, environmental policy, natural sciences, and non-profit development and administration.
Recently, we asked Sage what her experience at Midwest Pesticide Action Center was like and she had this to share:
“Interning at the [MPAC] gave me invaluable insight into the innermost workings of an environmental non-profit. It showed me how productive a small group of highly intelligent, dedicated people could be. Interning gave me experience researching, writing, data-gathering, and communicating with different kinds of people.
It showed me how a team of passionate people fit and work together to accomplish a shared goal. I felt supported, challenged and appreciated during my time with [MPAC] and definitely think it helped me better define my career interests.”
